My name is Guy Vider. I own a small consulting firm, Traveling Tech Guy LLC.
For the last 7 years I've been traveling around our planet, solving software problems.
And for the last 5 years I've been documenting my travel and tech experiences in my blog.
I specialize in application problem resolution. No matter the technology, environment, or language - I'll take a hack at it.
I'm driven by an insatiable thirst for knowledge. I have to try any new technology and gadget that comes out. My laptop looks like a battleground of compilers. I hold the firm belief that a real developer should be a jack of all trades. If you can't write a "Hello, World" application in any language out there, then you lack that spark that separates true programmers from "software professionals",
In this blog I'll attempt to share some of my passion, by posting my projects and latest interests. Don't expect consistency: at any point in time I dabble in 2-3 different projects. All I can promise is that some will interest you. You can expect code snippets, how-to videos and advice based on experience.
Since I've been using online sources to learn and advance for years, it's only fair to mention that all code and ideas published here are completely free to use and re-use, in any project or environment, free or commercial.
My motto is: a day in which you haven't learned something new is wasted.
Pay it forward.
